Rocky Mountain Goldenrod (Solidago multiradiata) is a native perennial herb that grows in central and northern California. It is short-lived. It grows in an upright form to a height of 1 foot, with active growth during the spring and summer. Flowers are yellow and striking, and bloom in the late summer. Leaves are medium green and deciduous. It tends to grow in slopes and meadows, at elevations from 8000-12500 feet.
