I specialize in designing landscapes that make the most of our wonderful California climate and lifestyle.This means working with my clients to create outdoor environments that are low on maintenance, high on usability, drought tolerant, and colorful and inviting all year long.Most recently, I’m concentrating on creating sustainable landscapes, working to preserve precious resources and encourage native plants and animals. I’ve always advocated for low-water usage. Now I’m adding in the “local” component – plants and practices – to help create biodiverse “homegrown national parks.”
