Small White Violet (Viola macloskeyi) is a native perennial herb that grows in northern, southern and central California. It is moderately fast growing and short-lived. It grows in a rounded form to a height of 0.5 feet, with active growth during the spring and summer. Flowers are white and striking, and bloom in the early spring. Leaves are medium green and deciduous. It tends to grow in , at elevations from 3300-11200 feet.
