Santa Barbara Milk Vetch (Astragalus trichopodus var. lonchus) is a native perennial herb that grows in Northern, Southern and Central California, primarily in the South Coast, the Channel Islands and Peninsular Range regions. It tends to grow in grassy places, at elevations from 0-1000 feet.
